When Italy was a fascist country, what did they accomplishing by being so, good or bad events?

They were quite successful in their pursuits and goals, once they began to completely abuse their authority, they lost their standing if you will amongst their constituents.
They had united amongst the masses for the countrys so called "good", and needed to establish a kinder, gentler Italy at the time--only under the direct supervision of most "powerful" leader. He took good "care" of the masses, too providing for the most necessary means of survival for the scared masses of people.
He did not complete his goals, as anticipated.
